SYMPTOM
You are working on a Campaign, however, when attempting to view the template associated with the Campaign, you see the error as displayed in the screenshot below.
Additionally, you find that the first line of the error message references: link.webversion
STEPS TO RESOLVE
The specific issue is that there is an incomplete Adestra function tag that has been added within the template. To resolve, you will:
- From the Campaign Overview page [ as shown in the GIF below ], click the Manage HTML button.
- On the following page, click the Email Editor button.
- Once the Email Editor opens in a new window, click in the space where the View Online link is located [ typically at the very top or very bottom of the email template ].
- And, on the right, populate the tag function so that it displays as: [*link.webversion('View Online')*] -- versus the previous, incorrect value of: [*link.webversion('View
