SYMPTOMS

When creating a campaign, you find that the uniquely specific UTM parameters associated with your Web Analytics Profile are not being automatically populated within the Campaign Options page for appending to the hyperlinks added to your message.

In the example, newsletter and email should show as ?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=email. If you're experiencing these values missing, the HighRoad team will need to add your domain to the web analytics profile.

STEPS TO RESOLVE

Your association's domain will need to be added to the Domains tab within the specific Web Analytics Profile.

You can't do this. You need an account administrator or HighRoad team to add.

  1. Go to Admin > Web Analytics

  2. Click the Google Analytics profile. If you're on your own account, it will be the first profile .

  3. Go to the Domains tab

  4. Add the domain name at the bottom of the page

DOES YOUR SITE FORCE WWW. OR SUB DOMAIN ON THE URL?

Some websites will force the domain to have the www. as prefix to the domain, or you'll have a sub directory. For example, HighRoad has apps3 and apps4 has sub domains.

You need to add the www. or sub domain before your domain. Adestra will search for the domain after the protocol (https:// or http://).
